YouTube

I’ve been busy on YouTube!
Although I’ve been developing the use of video in education for some years now, it was only recently that I decided to take advantage of the YouTube platform.  This is a cool way to do things and it’s opened up a whole new audience for me again.
I’m now publishing all my [...]

I’ve started using Amazon Cloud services
I can use Amazon servers instead of having to buy new hardware.  Looks pretty cool.

Huru Helpdesk

I’ve discovered a new Joomla extension…
Huru Helpdesk
Huru is swahili for “freedom” which is quite appropriate seeing as it’s an open source solution.
It’s an excellent helpdesk that is inspired by the work done with Liberum, another open source helpdesk.

I’ve moved all my bookmarks away from my HowTo website up on to Delicious, and immediately it’s accessible from any of my websites via the Follow Pryer Solutions… area.
By posting your bookmarks on Delicious, you are kind of voting for your favourites and showing the world the most popular links.  As a result the best [...]

Google Apps has themes for email.

I discovered themes for google mail today. It’s probably been around for ages I just never noticed before, but this is a really nice feature.
Nobody likes picking up their emails, but at least now you can do it from an aesthetically pleasing website!
Google Apps certainly rocks!!

Sugar CRM is up and running!

After about a week’s work I’ve now got my own Customer Relationship Management solution using the open-source Sugar CRM.
This is an awesome product that allows me to keep up with all my customer accounts, and will also allow Pryer Solutions to expand as and when it needs to!
